Parenting style will be involoved when we discuss children's development. Investigating parenting is good for us to understand the mechanism of family ecosystems on development of children's mental health and also good for optimizing constractio environment.Because of cultural backgrounds, there are different comprehensions of "aggression"in parenting. And until now, there are no empirical research results on the special dimension-- "aggression".Therefore, to study the "aggession", to definite its connotation and structure elements, to develop a measuring tool are very important for broadening parenting theory and improving family education.Based on literature anylsis, this study proposes the concept of aggressive parenting and its structure; by usingqualitative and quantitative researches, scale of "aggressive parenting"(father and mother) is made; then explore the present symptom of Zhejiang 909 parents'aggressive parenting and its related factors. Results are as follows:(1) aggressive parenting is defined as a stable complex of attitude and beliefs about parenting, whereas parenting practices are specific behaviors engaged in by parents. This kind of parenting is very distinct when conflicts (including parent-child, child-peers) are happened. In father questionnaire seven key elements of aggressive parenting such as demands for aggression toward other children, use of physical punishment, severity of punishment for aggression toward parents, permissiveness for aggression toward other children, beliefs of aggressive parenting, show of aggression and permissiveness for aggression toward parents were abstracted through an exploratory factor analysis. In mother questionnaire also seven key elements were abstracted ,they are demands for aggression toward other children, severity of punishment for aggression toward parents, beliefs of aggressive parenting, permissiveness for aggression toward parents, permissiveness for aggression toward other children, reasonable punishment and harsh punishment.(2) There are 38 items in father questionnaire, demands for aggression toward other children including 7, permissiveness for aggression toward other children including 6, use of physical punishment including 8, severity of punishment for aggression toward parents including 4, permissiveness for aggression toward parents including 4, show of aggression including 4 and beliefs of aggressive parenting including 3. Whereas, there are 32 items in mother questionnaire, demands for aggression toward other children including 7, permissiveness for aggression toward other children including 4, severity of punishment for aggression toward parents including 5, permissiveness for aggression toward parents including 4, reasonable punishment including 4, harsh punishment including 3, and beliefs of aggressive parenting including 4. The results of CFA of a composite sample illustrate that the theorical structure model fits with the actual measurement model, and x~2/df is 2.21/1.81,CFI is 0.95/0.96,NNFI is 0.95/0.96,NFI is 0.91/0.92,RMSEA is 0.051/0.042,SRMR is 0.056/ 0.054. Then the cronbachαcoefficient (internal consistence) of two queatinaire are 0.8995 and 0.8543, after two weeks, the correlation coefficient of total scores are 0.8304 and 0.8463 .It means reliability coefficients of aggressive parenting are good.(3) The research of demography variance shows children sex, local, educations and profession have no significant correlations with aggressive parenting, while have significant correlations with some factors. From this investigation, we know any parents show some level of aggressive parenting, but its expression patterns and approach are different.
