Knowledge value is the output of social culture development, which is stable, changeable and historical. It plays a leading role on other values. Changes in the value of today's knowledge, the advent of the knowledge society will inevitably outlook on life and values that are in a stage of formation of the high school students consciously or unconsciously re-examine the value of knowledge and a corresponding concept. High school students'knowledge values not only directly control the high school students'learning concept, but also affect their learning attitude, learning behavior and learning affection. We must, therefore, in-depth study high school students'development characteristics of the era of knowledge economy, analyze and decide composition factor of high school students knowledge values, further discover the differences between ordinary high school and vocational high school students'knowledge values, help high school students develop a scientific, rational knowledge values, a comprehensive raising the quality of personnel training.This study is made by Wang Bo's"questionnaire to importance of knowledge of high school students". Two high school students did the survey. 502 high school students from the coastal city Qingdao, Qingdao No.2 Middle School and Qingdao Foreign Affairs Vocational School, conducted a questionnaire survey. The data was input into database and analyzed by SPSS 11.5. The results showed as follows:First, high school students think a lot more about knowledge to the value of society. In their opinion, the most important role of knowledge is national rejuvenation, social progress and good character training to people.Second, there are significant differences between the knowledge values of boys and girls. Girls think that knowledge is more valuable. The data shows that the following dimensions are significantly higher than those of boys: the rejuvenation of the nation, social progress, social civilization, world peace, environment protection, appearance and achievements. For boys, only Marriage individual-oriented dimension was significantly higher than that of girls.Third, there are remarkable differences to the high school students'social values. They are total score, social orientation, economic prosperity of social orientation, science and technology, culture, national rejuvenation, social progress, social civilization, world peace and environment protection. The data of Senior 1 students are obviously higher than those of the other two grades.Fourth, compared the vocational school students to the ordinary high school students, vocational school students believe that knowledge is more important and useful both for individuals and for schools.
