STS are abbreviations of Science, Technology and Society. Permeating STSeducation in physics teaching is tendency to educational reform of physicsand also is an effective means of carrying out Quality-oriented Education, astrong guarantee of implementing new lessons standard, and an importantway to develop the country with science and education.The theory of STS education has been put forward for many years, butpeople don't carry it out perfectly, and develop a set of effective ways.Classes play a very important role in teaching. It's necessary for physicsteachers to study the subject how to permeate STS education in teachingeffectively. This thesis mainly explains the essentiality, feasibility, content andplan of effectively permeating STS education.The thesis explains subject as follows: 1 to permeate STS education inclass teaching effectively, the first thing to do is to get the link point, thencombine theory with practice in teaching, and the next thing is to permeateSTS education in experiment and exercise teaching.2 Studying the subject atthe right time. 3 To carry out rich secondary classes to reinforce STSeducation. In which the content and means of STS education are emphasized.The thesis is practical and meaningful both in theory and practice in physicsteaching of middle school.
