A large quantity of high-quality teachers are the key to quality of basic education. People are concerning about teacher education in recent years. It is worthwhile meaningful to find a way to improve the quality of teacher education.There are many points of view in teacher education research, while this paper analyses this problem from curriculum aspect and tried to find the differences in teacher education between China and America through comparative-oriented research on the purpose of discovering and understanding the advantage and disadvantage of teacher education in China. On that basis, the paper also makes some suggestions to the reforming of curriculum of teacher education in China.The paper compares the curriculum of teacher education between China and America from the aspect of objective, structure and content. There are many differences in the four aspects and the shortage of our country's teacher education is the unreasonable structure, the lack of education curriculum, stuffy content and unsubstantial student teaching. This paper's objective is to improve curriculum of teacher education in China by American experiences. The curriculum of teacher education in China should mostly be reformed in structure, content and student teaching, while the key point is to improve the effect which curriculum brings to the future teacher.
