Web-based instruction refers to the instructional control and management process in which various factors in web-based learning environment are arranged reasonably, learners'self-regulated learning is organized and knowledge is self-constructed. It is of many features, such as richness of instructional resources, feasibility of learning process, variety of learning methods and multiplication of instructional evaluation, etc. The theoretical basis of web-based instructional models design is self-regulated learning theory, situation-cognition learning theory, individual-learning theory and multiplication-evaluation theory.According to the characteristics of web-based learning, the model of web-based instructional design should include the following links: the analysis of learning need, the analysis of learners, identifying the learning goals, selecting learning strategies, organizing learning resources, designing cognition tools, constructing learning situations, implementing learning process, service of learning support and evaluation of instructional design. During the concrete implementation, instructional design can be divided into three stages, that is, the stage of preliminary analysis, the stage of organization and practice and the stage of evaluation.
