The existing problems of information technology (IT) education in modern teaching practices were analyzed through practically investigating the application status of IT by middle school teachers in Huimin district. The application status of IT education for middle school teachers in Huimin district was summarized. Methods of referencing, interviewing and questionnaire were used for investigation. The factors that affect the teachers to use IT during teaching practices were pointed out, and the existing problems were discussed. The suitable and practicable solutions for solving IT problems existed in middle school education were suggested. The effective ways to improve the teachers'teaching ability of using IT were explored, and the scientific and objective rules for middle school teachers using IT during teaching practice and education were provided.This thesis included five parts, as the content of each part was listed below:Part I: Introduction.In this part, the research background, significance, aim and relevant concepts and terms of IT were introduced. and the research plan and measure were presented as well.Part II: Research Plans and Methods.In this part, the research plan and methods for IT education for middle school teachers in Huimin district were presented.Part III: Practical Investigation and Analysis.In this part, the application status of IT for teachers in middle school in Huimin district were investigated and analyzed with questionnaires from eight aspects including (1) the application environment of IT, (2) the consciousness and recognition of middle school teachers on IT, (3) the situation of middle school teachers using modern IT in teaching practices, (4) the knowledge of IT education and ability of mastering IT, (5) the feedbacks of IT used for middle school teachers in teaching practices. (6) the IT training activities for middle school teachers, (7) the main factors affecting the teacher to apply IT in teaching practices, (8) the opinion, attitude and management of the leader on IT application in teaching practices. The interview with students was adopted at the same time so that to assist collecting relevant information for systematical analysis.Part IV: Countermeasure and Suggestion.In this part, the suggestion and countermeasure were presented in order to solve the problems encountered for teachers to use IT during teaching practices. Part V: Conclusion.In this part, the main results were concluded. By analyzing the current problems, the further research plans were suggested.
