The pricing structures of private schools have always been the focus of concern for society and families. It affects thousands of households and the harmony of the society. Its application is currently in disorder since it lacks theoretical study and current government policy requires more studies and analysis of evidence. This thesis tries to provide a case study on the pricing structures of private middle schools and aims to provide references for further researchers to complete by analyzing the pricing structure of a sample, School A.This thesis is in the form of case study using the methodology of open and close ended questionnaires and interviews. It studies the pricing structure of one of the private middle schools in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. It tries to explain a complex understanding of the pricing issue with references to the education cost estimation, the comparison and analysis on the items and pricing criteria between school A and other schools.This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter is a case study on the pricing structure of school A. Authentic and objective information is obtained by means of investigation and analysis on the items charged, pricing criteria and other related issues of School A. The second chapter describes the pricing features using the comparison on the item charges, criteria and quota between school A and other schools.It also exposes the essence of pricing issues in school A through education cost accounting. The third chapter reflects the pricing problems of private middle schools and the reasons. It concludes the main points of the thesis. In the fourth chapter, the writer suggests how to make the pricing structures of private middle schools more scientific and appropriate, as well as providing a basis on how to construct a feasible pricing plan.
