Based on the relevant researches both domestic and abroad, the thesisfocuses on the development and progress of bilingual education in Chinese universityby means of a case study of ShaanXi Normal University. It is divided into four chapters.Chapter-1: General Research of the Bilingual Education.(1)describes thedevelopmental trends of bilingual education in Chinese universities by analyzing thebackground. (2)presents the practical and theoretical meaning of the research. (3)makesout the methods of the research. (4)presents the main concept and the framework of theresearch.Chapter-2: Basic Relevant Researches on University Bilingual Education bothDomestic and Abroad. (1)the basic types of Bilingual Education. (2)the basic patterns ofBilingual Education. (3)the basic theory of Bilingual Education both domestic andabroad. (4)the basic factors of Bilingual Education. (5)the relationship matters ofBilingual Education.Chapter-3: The Case Study of Bilingual Education in ShaanXi NormalUniversity. (1)the introduction of ShaanXi Normal University and Bilingual Educationimplemented there. (2)the confirmation of the questionnaire scope,the design of thequestionnaire and putting them into practice. (3)the result and analysis of thequestionnaireChapter-4: the Discussion and the Conclusion of the whole paper.(1)the analysis ofcurrent situations of Bilingual Education in universities. (2)the Practical problems andthe answers of Practical difficulties.
