| The guiding principle for education, which is made in a certain historical period by the government according to the need of the development of politics, economy and culture, means the direction of the education development, the general view of the basic policy of the education as well as the fundamental thoughts of various education works in our country. From the perspective of environment influencing education, research on the change as well as development of the guiding principle for education and prediction about its evolution under the new environment become our research subjects. The guiding principle of education varies and develops with the change and improvement of the politics, economy and culture.Since 1990s, the political, economical and cultural development has facilitated the formulation and implementation of the current education guiding principle which is as follows:"Education must serve the socialistic modernization construction and be combined with productive labor in order to foster builders and successors with all-round development for the socialistic cause". on the other hand, the changing environment has caused various problems arising in the implementation of the education guiding principle, which encourages us to further explore the influence of the environment on the development of education guiding principle.Comparing the background and the implementation of the education guiding principle in the different historical periods, we recognize what affects the education guiding principle includes not only exterior factors such as politics, economy and culture, but the self-generating environment of education that we consider as a resultant force of terminal orientation of values of education ( the all-round development of man) and the education laws. To ensure the effectiveness of the education guiding principle, we should take the exterior factors and the inner nature into consideration together, with the premise of the scientificalness in the education guiding principle. And a scientific one should first present the terminal target, conforming to the inner law of education development, then satisfy the requirements of the country and social development.The changing situation such as putting the human fundamental, the view of scientific development, harmonious society, the eleventh five-year plan, all predicts the tendency of our political, economic and cultural development in new era. After researching the compatibility of current education principle and the laws of education and the terminal orientation of values of education we find out the reform of current education guiding principles is a historical necessity. By analyzing the contents of current education guiding principle, we believe the theme of reformed education guiding principle should be that education serves the all-round development of man, cultivates man meeting the various the construction and development demands of the socialistic harmonious society. |
