The thesis regards that the core of authority is right. As for teachersat primary and middle school, right mainly means some kind of interestand freedom, and it leads to the character of outside endowment of right.Because of this character, teachers' authority of primary and middleschool is easy to be constructed and constrained by many kinds ofrelationships. However, in addition to the deviant operation of right,teachers' authority of primary and middle school become alien, and fallinto dilemma finally.Thesis has four parts in all:Exordium: The part puts forward whether teachers of primary and middleschool possess authority. Oriented on legitimacy right, the character ofoutside endowment of teachers' authority at primary and middle schoolis pointed out. At the same time, it makes clear that the study ofteachers' authority at primary and middle school should be put on theextensive social context. And then, the question that whether teachersat primary and middle school possess the authority they should have isbrought up.Chapter one: The part raises the starting point of the thesis onsynthetic analysis of predecessors' studies. And then, on the basis ofdistinguishing authority and its relational concepts—power and prestige,the definition of authority is defined and the meaning of authority andteachers' authority at primary and middle school is given.Chapter two: The part discusses the current situation of teachers'authority, and points out that teachers' authority of primary and middleschool is in dilemma which can be described as alienation. The alienationsituation displays on: the alienation of teachers' interiorrequirement—the lose of independent decision-making power; the alienation of teachers' practical activity—the doctrinal power onteaching; the alienation of teachers' practical outcome—the missing ofhuman.Chapter three: The part analyzes factors to teachers'authority atprimary and middle dilemma. Because of the excessive intervention ofpolitical power, teachers' interior requirement can't be realized. Atthe same time, owing to the increasing penetration of market forces, itexerts influences on teachers' educational and teaching activity by itsown logic. So, teachers' normal educational and teaching activity isdifficult to go on. Besides, traditional cultural forces which emphasizerealizable interests and material gains always constrain the outcome ofteachers' education and teaching potentially.
