The curriculum reform finally can be fulfilled by the reform of theteaching material, because the teaching material is the carrier ofcurriculum, and is the important resource of the achievement of thecurriculum goal and the teaching implementation. Now there are manykinds of new teaching material for the reform of elementary educationcurriculum. What is the situation of the implementation of new teachingmaterial? Whether has it reflected the new curriculum standard well?Whether has it truly manifested the idea, the goal and the guidingideology of this new curriculum reform? Whether is it more advantageousto general teachers' teaching and to the students' study? In order toconfirm these problems, it needs not only the curriculum researcher'stheoretical analysis, but also the feedback information provided by thegeneral teachers and students. This research is to investigate thesequestions.In the investigation, we take the means of demonstration researchprimarily, complemented by theory research. At the same time, we takethe ways of questionnaire survey, interview survey, document review andtext analytic. We investigated the implementation actuality of the newjunior high school math teaching material published by East ChinaNormal University Publishing Company by surveying a lot of teachersand pupils. We analyzed the reason for the result, and putted forwardsome proposal.The paper is organized as follows. The first chapter is introduction,which includes the aims and significance of the investigation, documentreview, and the means taken in the paper. The status quo that the teachersand the students use the new math teaching material is arranged in chapter two and chapter three respectively. The result indicated that,Theteaching material has manifested the new curriculum idea, also conformsto student's mathematics cognition rule, but the compilation system andthe column establishment pending further consummates; The mostteachers worried certain important contents deletion and applicationquestion (or situation) excessively many, will affect student's successorstudy and the development; Although the teacher and the studentapproves of the teaching method and the study way which the newcurriculum initiates, but the field research, the study way change is notbig; The student studies the burden to be heavy, exercise quantity, thelevel, the structure awaits improvements.In the fourth chapter, combiningwith the《The Criterion of Math Curriculum》, we analyzed the results,probed in some problem of《The Criterion of Math Curriculum》andputted forward some proposal for the development of teaching material.
