Trying The Approach For The Application Of Chemistry Review In The Middle School

Fundamentally speaking, intemational competition is getting tough for the talent persons with innovative ability. To meet the need of the new round of reform at the elementary education curricula in the new era, it is recommended to replace the old learning method with a completely new one, that is, the practice learning method. The researcher illustrates the theoretical base of the practice learning method in chemical study, by a brief introduction to its history and update research.. The base consists of three characteristics that the individual has the attempt to participate classroom activities; learning has the quality of practice and chemistry has the characteristic of experiments. And the new approach has been applied to the general revision for the students in junior three.The "issue-practice-construction" pattern has been created through observation, introspection and reconstruction, based on the behaviorism research of practice-learning theory. The researcher argues that six sectors should be covered in the teaching process, namely issue, independent study, practice, discussion, explanation and application. And the teacher, the researcher argues that, should master the strategies for organizing team work and carrying out experiments.Tow questionnaires have been carried out to verify the research, and meanwhile, detailed working journal and statements by students are recorded as well. And thus some problems arise, such as the relationship between group interaction and independent thinking, the percentage of participations and the role of teachers in discussions.The result of the research shows that the students' interest in chemistry is heightened greatly, and the potential for co-operation is fully brought out. The learners have got not only the sense of accomplishment but individual value is realized by practice.
