Nationality issue is one of the important factors which influence the world's development. From the basic situation of our country that we are a united country with lots of nationalities , our country attach much importance to the nationality knowledge education or nationality unity education among high school students , and putting the knowledge into the related subjects is one of the effective ways of nationality knowledge education. History is an important humanity in foundamental education phase ,its subject charactistics and contents decide its special advantages in nationality knowledge education . This essay aims at the situation that our nationality knowledge education falls behind the needs of modernization construction ,make use of opportunity of the hisotry curriculum reformation , encircle how to exploit and make use of the rich nationality resourse of Guangxi ,study the strategies , methods and policies of carrying out nationality knowledge education in nationality area's high school history teaching , offer some related cases to increase the actual effect of history teaching, realizing the goal which is put up in the history curriculum reformation that bringing history into students' life and bringing students'life into history . in order to offer some reasonable thinking towards bringing up the qualified civils for the multinational socialist country in the 21st century .This essay is divided into six sections to demonstrate the author's study process and study results.Section One, analyse the concept of nationality basing on Marxism's nationality theory, and define the rich meanings of nationality knowledge and nationality knowledge education from practice and operation.Section Two, according to the request of carrying out basic education reformation and promoting the education for all-around development , this essay demonstrates the importance of carrying out nationality knowledge education among high school students and analyse the actuality and reasons of the shortage of nationality knowledge among every nationality's high school students by means of investigation , and bring forward the need and importance of nationality knowledge education among high school students .Section Three, demonstrating that history teaching is an important position to carry out nationality knowledge education among high school students from three aspects , they are the teaching contents of high school history teaching , the subject charateristics of history and the curriculum reformation of history in high school .Section Four, by means of experiment and research , summarizing three strategies in carrying out nationality knowledge education in high school history teaching : (i) Making fully use of history class, conforming the nationality knowledge in history book and make it extention or localization. (ii) Making use of the rich national resourse to carry out secondly classroom activities about nationality knowledge education.(iii) developing history course, taking nationality knowledge education as a seletive course . The three strategies combine each other, supplement each other ,easily handle. it can offer some typical nationality education cases for high school history teachers .Section Five , inspecting the research results of this task in various evaluation ways , analysing the experiment results of the task and reflecting the research and practice , bringing forward some basic principles which should be followed in high school history teaching. making an expectation that every department advances together, multisubject cooperation and the beautiful foreground of nationality knowledge civilization .Section Six, summarizing the whole essay and indicating the puzzles and problems which need to solve during research and experiment.
