The assignment and grading of open test questions in maths has been a heated topic that arouses a lot of attention and a hard nut to crack in the current curriculum research and evaluation. The new curriculum aims to encourage the flexible and various usages of evaluation methods. It emphasizes the mathematical development of students' flexibility and creativity. Therefore, open test questions will be a good choice for both students and teachers, the two key elements in teaching. A rational evaluation mode will better reflect the value of open test questions. This paper starts with three evaluation modes with open test questions. The Structure of the Observed Learning Outcome can be used to evaluate the students' development in logical thinking, based on their performances in answering the questions, which are further graded reasonably. But the various gradings of the learning results may have some effect on its fidelity. The Primary Trait Analysis can be used to evaluate different performances of the students. But it is very complex to design and make a chart. The simplified use of the chart will lower the accuracy of it. The Many-sided Evaluation Mode can test students' frequency and the number in solving problems, for example, how well students use these modes and how successfully they are making use of these modes. But since in selective examinations the score for each test question is fixed, and hard to fully evaluate, there is no better way to evaluate the different strategies in solving the problems. This paper aims to set up an evaluation mode of open test questions for junior maths class --The Many-dimensional Evaluation Mode, based on the comparision of the three evaluation structures, along with relevant mode types, so that diverse phenomena and factors can be analysed and evaluated by means of quantitative and qualitative analyses. The evaluated results help to obtain a good understanding of the students' cognitive development and reflect students' actual logical thinking process. Besides, it can also function as an encouragement, diagnostic standards and being selective. The Many-dimensional Evaluation Mode in junior maths class is not perfect at present and needs to be well researched and improved.
