Human being is stepping into a dialogue and understanding times, the dialogue already becomes Zeitgeist in the nowadays , dialogue teaching is the Zeitgeist reporting in the educational fields ,it is a teaching form under the background which is elementary education course reforming. As one kind of new education idea, Dialogue teaching has embodies a big life-force. However, at present, there is few specialized research on the dialogue teaching in the history class .This thesis ,based on the deep understanding of the Criteria of the History Course(experiment edition), reference to the relevant theory and research in the history ,gives a theoretical and practical research on the dialogue teaching in the history class.In some extent, the emergence of the theory of teaching for dialogue affects the teaching practice. On the base of study of the documents about philosophy, brain science, pedagogy and psychology, an analysis to the connotation, theoretical basis, principle of dialogue teaching and the dialogue teaching in the history classis given. Then the research proposed the observation items and designed the observation tables according to the object and content of the research. The observation is made by visiting history classes in the middle school, at the some time some questionnaires and interviews are carried out. Then by analyzing this empirical research information, the present situation and characteristics of the dialogue teaching in history class are concluded. At last, some introspective of adopting dialogue teaching in history class is proposed and some advisement and proposals are given.
