Language is always considered as a communicative tool, whose main use is to build up and maintain social ralations bewteen people . With the introduction of different perspectives in classroom,the perspective of inside the classroom itself attract author's attention.Classroom is a place where various interactions take place ,affording learners opportunities to acquire the language.As famous linguist ALL Wright (1984;156) sees, interaction is"the fundamental fact of classroom pedagogy"because everything that happens in the classroom happens through a process of person -- to -- person interaction , although it demands many other elements .The social linguist Wells has expressed interaction like this ,linguistic interaction is a collaborative activity involving the establishment of a triangle relationship between the sender ,the receiver and the content of situation, whether the communication is in speech or writing .The theory of interaction in class maintains that interactive teaching can play an important part in promoting effective learning in significant ways .Rather than the one-way of teaching method of teacher- oriented or students-oriented, author claimed the secret of effective teaching and learning lies in the nature of the classroom between two or more people with different levels of skills and knowledge .During the procedure of an interactive class ,various activities can be adopted such as (1)using the foreign language for classroom management (2)using the foreighn language as a medium (3) conversation and discussion sessions (4) basing dialogues and role--plays on school experience. experience .An interactive classroom doesn't consist of only interactive activities ,it also involves in the Text-based materials , the diversifying classroom interactive formats , the roles the the teachers and the students play in the interactive teaching and the design of the classroom ,Which are all very important elements for whether we can foster the right climate for interaction to take place ,for students' confidence to develop , for students'individuty to be respected , for a sense of belonging to be natured .In a word for stimulating the learners'English learning motivation.This thesis concludes six parts. The first part introduces the significance of learning motivation and interactive teaching in class , at the same time I present the research questions of this thesis . The second and third parts discuss the theory of motivation and interactive teaching in class and raised the idea of "Stimulating the learners' learning motivation by interactive teaching in class" The fourth part shows the present study of motivation and interactive teaching in class in author's high- middle school . The five part disscuses the solution to the fourth question . The sixth part is the conclusion .I hope this thesis can contribute a little to effective teaching and efficent learning and to the research of teaching learners how to learn.
