Learning motivation is one of the most pivotal emotion factor which impact the result of English learning. It also makes great influence for interest, manner, effort extent and persist in task in English leaning of Primary scholar, thus makes indirect influence for learning result. The New Standard for English Course emphasizes to motivate the students’learning motivation, lead Primary scholar to transform the interests into the stable leaning motivation and makes the leaning motivation as one of the emotion manner target for English learning. However, teachers face a widespread issue is how to inspire and keep the students’English leaning motivation. Theoretically, Interactive Whiteboard is much easier to provide all sides and multilevel of interactions between teacher-student, student-student and human-computer for teaching and leaning in classroom, and to motivate the students’learning motivation more efficiently. But, there are some issues must be settled such as the followings:Compared with the traditional circumstance of teaching and learning in classroom, whether the circumstance of Interactive Whiteboard has notable advantages? Is it possible to improve the English learning motivation and study result for students? What kinds of teaching and learning method and strategy to be used to inspire and train students’ learning motivation in the Interactive Whiteboard circumstance? Therefore, the study makes research both on theory and demonstration directed against above method issues.The study includes4chapters. The first chapter is general, in which introduces the background, target and sense of the study, makes up and compares and analyses the study situation of leaning motivation and the Interactive Whiteboard at home and abroad at the present, provides theory according to and sets the core concept, thus provides a basis for carrying on the study actually. The second chapter is theoretical study which analysis the characteristics of English course in primary school, English learning emotion of students and the function of circumstance of Interactive Whiteboard for motivating of the English leaning motivation, points out that five instruments including resources library, circumstances establishment, knowledge exhibition and construction, interactive cooperation and evaluation, and provides the strategy to motivate the English learning motivation of Primary scholar by these five instruments. The third chapter is action study which provides the path of action study and methods of study used such as test, questionnaire, conversation and so on, thus to probe the exercise on English teaching and leaning in primary school. The chapter also makes analysis and examination on cases of teaching and learning design and provides the strategy for settle the issues arrived. The fourth chapter is thinking and expectation which summarizes the conclusion of the study, analyses the innovation and deficiency within the study, and provides a future expectation on the developing of the Interactive Whiteboards used for classroom English teaching and leaning in primary school in China.
