Along with the technical development of network information, a new way of communication on Internet, Blog emerges after the emergence of E-mail, BBS and ICQ. Application and popularity of Blog has offered a new tool and platform for reform in education and teaching.This paper deals with the study on theory and practice of education and teaching about Blog in China. It discusses Blog's application in education and teaching by questionnaire and experiment.The main contents are as follows: firstly, a study on Blog how to affect and promote study is discussed through studying theories. Secondly, it analyses that Blog's promotes and helps for the development of educator. There are some problems in applying Blog to education and teaching at present. The essay recommends some solutions.The present paper researches on methods and characteristics of using Blog in education and teaching, which embodies teaching theory of humanism, cognitive and constructivism. In addition, it can promote the development of teachers' specialization and lifelong-learning, and also can promote the students' learning autonomy, interest and migration of knowledge. Moreover, how to promote the interaction and communication among school, teachers, students and parents is also discussed.This paper is my comprehensive theories research and practical conclusion about diversity of Blog's promoting education and teaching presently. With speedily development of information technology, fusion of Blog, podcast, wiki and mobile technology will promote education and teaching. And using of Blog still needs constant further research and discussion.
