Prosocial behavior is the key of children's socialization. During the process ofsocialization, whether children can use prosocial skills rationally to communicate withothers effectively or not will affects their adaptation to society and self development. Theresearch studied the age character and gender trend among pupil's self consciousness &prosocial tendency & prosocial moral reasoning through the investigation to 432 primaryschool pupils in Fuzhou city. It reviewed the effect of self consciousness to prosocialtendency& prosocial moral reasoning, and the correlation between prosocial tendency &prosocial moral reasoning, it also analysed the way to facilitate prosocial behaviordevelopment through increasing self consciousness education. The research combined thequalitative analysis and quantitative analysis to draw the following conclusions: 1.pupil'sself consciousness develops with age, existing distinctive grade differences but nodistinctive gender differences; 2. pupil's prosocial behavior development appearsimbalance status with age increasing; 3. there is no remarkable differences in prosocialbehavior development between boys and girls; 4. self consciousness level is positivelycorrelates with prosocial tendency and prosocial moral reasoning; 5.prosocial tendencyand prosocial moral reasoning have certain correlation patterns; 6. the possibility of doingprosocial behavior of popular and normal pupils is higher than rejectee.
