On The Model Function Of Demonstrating Kindergartens In Hunan

With the economic progress and the educational promotion, thedevelopment of pre-school education has reached a new stage. So moreand more demands for the quality of kindergartens are concerned bypeople. Demonstrating kindergartens, as outstanding representative,which have advanced experience in kindergarten management, teachingresearch, exploring education regulation and etc. Obviously attract moreand more people's attention. Demonstrating kindergartens have effect onhelping other kindergartens and promoting development of pre-schooleducation in certain area.The criterion for Hunan demonstrating kindergartens was enacted bythe Education Department in 1991. Eleven kindergartens were regardedas Hunan provincial demonstrating kindergartens in 1994. By2006,there have been forty provincial demonstrating kindergartens. Aseries of evaluation systems that assure demonstrating kindergartens'evaluation effectively came into being during construction anddevelopment of demonstrating kindergartens.It is demonstrating kindergarten's duty to show excellentachievement and advanced experience to other kindergartens.Demonstrative form and contents is divided into five aspects in this paper:Implement education regulations and transform teachers' notionconsciously; Enhance specialty development of teaching staff; Carry outteaching research; Utilize all kinds of education resources integratedly;Help poor kindergartens. The paper analyzes exertion of model functionand effect in demonstrating kindergarten from five angles above.Meanwhile, in order to reflect current situation of demonstratingkindergartens' model function more clearly, I chose a demonstratingkindergarten for case-study. Based on these facts and analysis, the paperends with restrict factors for model function and strategies for promotionof model function.
