Nowadays, the general qualities of young midtiie school teachersobviously-can not meet the need of the work required of them and thecontradiction between their ideals and reality has lead to a series ofproblems in their teaching posts, their professional devotion, theirknowledge and skills and their training programs. All these, have renderedan obstacle to the deepening of teaching reform; the practice ofquality-based education. So how to solve the above problems, how to taptheir potentials, and how to improve their working environment, in orderto promote their growth is an important project of theoretical significanceand practical value.This article is divided into three parts:The preface presents the reasons and background for writing thearticle and then synthesizes the documents. It also indicates thedeficiency of the recent research and the possible breakthroughs to make,emphasizing the definition of young middle school teachers and theirgrowth and the significance of their growth.The second part describes the environment in which they live withdifficult and pursue their professions, base on the reality of theirprofessions, their professional development and devotion, their expansionof their professional knowledge, their growth stages and resources fortheir growth. It points out the existing problems and then analyses theelements that deters the growth of young middle-school teachers on thelevel of society, schools and individuals.The third part puts forward some suggestions for the promotion ofthe young teachers as far as the elements mentioned in the second part areconcerned. It shows that teachers should have a clear vision of theirdevelopment as an individual and that society and schools shouldfurthermore provide a good environment for their development.This paper, with the guidance of Marxism, takes advantage of education study, psychology, sociology, management and so on. Theapproaches adopted in the research are: document study, questionnaire,interview, narration and comparison and analysis. Focusing on thenecessary theoretical research, and with related achievements, it hasopened a window and laid a foundation for theoretical research to someextent. The suggestions put forward are to the point and easy to put intopractice, And they are enlightening when the local administrationsconsider the construction of teaching teams, when middle schools arrangeprofessional programs and even when individual teachers think of andplan their career development.
