In the informatized, multiple, and open society, people attach more and more importance to cooperation and teamwork spirit, for a lot of things can not be accomplished by individual efforts. In this sense, interpersonal communicative abilities take on more importance in individual development. People pay close attention to socialization in children, especially the infant's social communicative abilities or social skills. As a matter of fact, in the modern society where Only Child constitutes the majority, the infant's problems in social communication become more and more conspicuous. The infant's communicative abilities will influence not only their companion relationship in the childhood, but also their interpersonal communication when they grow up, or even their marriage life in the future. The development of such abilities is of great importance to the development of the infant's personality, sociality, and cognitive abilities, so the discussion of the infant's social communication is of a great deal of realistic meaning. By exploring the infant's inner world, the study aims to find out the educational meaning and value from the real stories, and propose some suggestions to facilitate the development of the infant's social communication. The study adopts the methodology of narrative inquiry which differs a lot from the abstract generalization. It shows full respect to the individual's real life and approaches people's educational experience and practice by analyzing the stories, oral accounts, spot observation, diaries, interviews, autobiographies, biographies, letters, and documents. The object of the study is a boy of five and half years old in a public kindergarten of Guilin. The first-hand material is obtained from the observation by the author in the kindergarten and his family, as well as the repeated interview of his head teacher, parents, and nurse. The data obtained takes on in the form of story after being sorted out and analyzed. The study evaluates the infant's social communication on the basis of related documents and theories; furthermore, it discusses the factors that influence the infant's social communicative development. The study mentions four aspects of the infant's social communication in the following : parent - child communication, peer relations , teacher - child communication, and communication with the surrounding people. In terms of the factors that influence the infant's social communication, the study starts from the perspective of the family, infant, kindergarten, and community, and among tee four, the factor of family is the primary concern. There are many factors influencing the infant's social communication. Family is a small-size society that the infant gets in touch with at the very beginning and it is also an important place where the infant acquires social communicative skills, therefore, family plays a very important role in the infant's social communication. The quality of parent-child attachment, parent- child communicative experience, the father's personality, parents'expectations, the quantity and quality of father-child communication, family environment, parent-child play and the educational disagreement among the family members are the focus of the family study. The infant himself also has an influence on the development of the infant's social communication because the infant's temperament, behavioral characteristics, communicative attitude, method, skills and strategies will influence the infant's communication with his parents, companions, teachers and other people. Apart from family, kindergarten is another important environment where the infant grows up, so the teachers'characteristics, the characteristics of interaction between the teachers and the children, and the objective environment in the kindergarten (including the stability of teachers and the size of the class) are factors that influence the infant's social communication. The community's environment, the culture, the activity and so on also will affect the infant's social communication in certain extent.According to the observation on the study object, interviews and related theories, we come to the following conclusions: Parent-child relations and communicative experience in the early days are very important factors that influence the infant's social communication; Parent-child play is an important approach for the infant to acquire social communicative skills; merry and harmonious family environment facilitates the development of the infant's social communication; the teachers'educational concept and strategy will also influence the infant's social communication; overlarge-sized class will impair the infant's social communication; the communication with parents, teachers, and companions correlate with each other; family, kindergarten, and community are the direct environment that influences the infant's social communication.
