It is pointed out in《The education-vitalizing plan facing the 21st century》that the future competition is the technology competition and the talent competition. As time went on, more knowledge was updated and technology is developing with high speed. People come to realize profoundly it isn't the most important that making the students master a lot of knowledge, while what is the most important is having them learn how to master knowledge. When they make it a habit to study actively and with scientific study methods, not only can they improve the learning quality, but they can also lay a good foundation for the life-long learning, and it benefit them all their life.During the process of geography teaching, non-intellective factors has an profound significance to the students'study and the development of intelligence. Every section of it affects each other, and operates synthetically. To improve the teaching level, obtain good teaching effect and cultivate geography talent with creative ability, the non-intellective factor must be highly valued. While among those non-intellective factors such as confidence, will, habit, interest, character and so on, habit is very important. It is good for the formation of the study strategy and the improvement of study efficiency, and inspires the students'enthusiasm and go-aheadism. It is an important condition of improving the students'study efficiency. Whether they can form good studying habit can deeply affect their comprehensive development.Studying habit is a kind of automatic study behavior fashion which is formed during the study process and with practice after practice, and then develops into an individual requirement. The habit of geography study includes being used to preparation, being standard in class, taking part in meaningful social practice and performing properly during the exams.The biggest difficulty that the present high school students are facing when they study geography, is having no good study habit. This directly influences their mastering and applying their knowledge. To develop the study habit which is good for the students'life-long study, the teacher should use different teaching methods to correct the poor study habits, inspire their interest in geography, improve their self-confidence, direct them to study and then form good study habit in geography.
