This thesis is the conclusion about family factors' effect on the children's habit of English learning. It mainly analyses how parents' attitude, education background and method of family education influence their children's habit of English learning.First, by using the method of checking the data and investigating, the thesis explores which family factors affect children's habits of English learning. Then, by using the method of checking the data, interviewing six families whose children are chosen as example cases and combining observing with investigating ,the thesis compares and analyses how the family factors affect the children in the six cases together with the theory of psychology education and family education. We can draw the following points from the research: among the family factors, parents' attitude to children's English learning, parents' education background, especially, mothers' educational level, and family education method affect children's habit of English learning greatly. And most of all, parents' attitude affects children's habit of English learning greatest. And the parents of the students in Yuhong Primary School pay more attention to their children's reading and writing then listening and speaking. So the children's habit of reading and writing are better then that of listening and speaking.By analysing the problems in the cases, the author suggests that school and teachers must guide and help parents to take suitable family education method when they urge their children to learn English. At the other hand, parents should try to learn more in order to help their children to form a good habit of English learning, so that to improve their children's English learning.
