Study On The Construction Of Inter-disciplinary Organization Of Research Universities In China

The paper focuses on the inter-disciplinary organization of research universities in China and abroad, with the purpose of summarizing the history,actuality,experience and problem of inter-disciplinary organization in home and abroad, and putting forward some constructive suggestions that can be used to promote the construction of inter-disciplinary organization of chinese research universities in the future.The paper unscrambles the inter-disciplinary organization in virtue of some theory from other disciplinary, introduces the history and actuality of the inter-disciplinary organization abroad, analyses three cases IRMACS of SFU ,CSBi of MIT and MBB of Harvard,then tries out some experience. On the base of investigation, the paper summarizes the construction of three new inter-disciplinary organizations,including HFNL of USTC ,Biomed-X Center of Peking university and Research Center on Photon/Phonon Crystal of NUDT,discusses the drive,resistance and basic mechanism of inter-disciplinary organization's construction. After that, the paper finally brings forwards Four Power and Four Phases on facilitating the construction of inter-disciplinary organization of chinese research universities.
