The theory of John Wilson's moral education affects profoundly in the western educational circles. His proof is from the analysis of ambiguous and fuzzy language or the concept in traditional moral education. Wilson is the most successful one that introduce the thought system by the method of semantic analysis to the domain of moral education. In the school education practice, Wilson took the thought of opposing the authoritative principle in moral education as the beginning of the construction in his theory. He emphasizes the ability of thought and is against the instilling education. He has provided a new standpoint for the modern society's school moral education. In his theory, the important guiding ideology is that we should respects the student's freedom of individuality and respect the student's moral inference ability, the judgment ability, the criticism thought ability as well as the ability to select.This article attempts to carries on an analysis of our country's school moral education comprehensively and systematically for refining its reasonable essence in order to serves for our country's school moral education practice.Therefore, the author of this paper uses documentary method and comparative method, which are based on collecting and coordinating lots of China and foreign countries' datum. This paper includes four parts. First, it points out the existing problems and difficulties in the school and then introduces the theory of John Wilson's moral education. Secondly, besides briefly introducing the dominant viewpoint of the very theory, the essay analyses its uniqueness and imperfection Then it studies its enlightenment on the reform of moral education of the school.At last, the present author concludes the paper by proposing some personal suggestions to the construction of moral education and the practice of moral innovation in the school of China.
