A Scientific Construction About The Teaching Principle System Of Colleges And Universities In China

About two thousand years ago, the thought of teaching principles first appeared in China. But for the world, the study about teaching principles of colleges and universities only had a very short history, which began in the 1950s. In China, the teaching principles of colleges and universities mostly based on the basic education or learned from other countries. So it is not favorable for the teaching practice of colleges and universities in knowledge economy age and educating the talented person. So it is necessary to construct a suit of scientific system of teaching principles colleges and universities for colleges and universities.In this paper, we'd like to get out from the limitation of the theoretical study, get some knowledge from the scientific and creative teaching practice and construct a teaching principle system for the colleges and universities which is in tune with the times. The new system can provide the foundation for the teaching practice and the work of teaching of the colleges and universities, so that teachers can avoid wasting too much energy. Besides, the constructing of the new teaching principles can also enrich the study of the teaching methodology in colleges and universities.There are four parts in this paper. By using the research method of educational science, we learned the history of teaching principle study home and abroad and found out the general developmental trend of teaching principles system. We also summarized teaching principles' definition, characteristics and its position and function in teaching methodology. On the basis of analyzing the traditional teaching principles, we preserved some of them which fitted the teaching practice and changed the expression of some principles which would make them more suitable to the teaching practice. At the same time, we put forward some creative teaching principles.
