Research On The Coupling Between The Function Expansion Of University Old Campuses And Lifelong Education System

Along with the country's economic and social development, people's lifelong education demand expands gradually, and constructing lifelong education system has been included in China's social development agenda. Meanwhile, the scale of university new campuses has been expanding continually in recent years, and the utilization efficiency of education resources in old campuses is generally lowered. It has a certain theoretical and practical value to promote the pace of constructing lifelong education system through the opening and the sharing of education resources in old campuses.This paper attempts to begin with the sustainable development of university old campuses and constructing lifelong education system, it brings forward the coupling model on university old campuses and the lifelong education system on base of the thorough analysis of the lifelong education system and the development state of university old campuses. This model is feasible from perspective of sustainable development of old campuses, and constructing lifelong education system and the optimal allocation of education resources. The relationship between university old campuses and lifelong education system are function coupling and resources coupling, the final result achieved by coupling is realizing the mutual promotion and common development between both of the two. Furthermore, the paper validates and sustains the coupling development model by the way of an empirical research based on Hangzhou, and that makes the foundation in reality.This is an across subject research which is economics-oriented and concerning much education knowledge, and the paper uses the combination of theoretical and practical analysis, questionnaire investigation and case study in the process. This research indicates that bring implementing lifelong education into the functional localization of university old campuses to achieve the coupling development between lifelong education and the sustainable development of the old campuses is feasible. Aiming at the restrictive factors in the coupling, we can make the coupling development realized effectively through constructing a new campus financing mechanism, the government overall planning coordination mechanism, intellectual support of experts and scholars, as well as implementing lifelong education at different levels, and build a financial support system, Internal management system in multi-campus university and the introduction of the marketing mechanism.
