The Construction Of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources Of Web Based Adult Education

As networked computer is increasingly popular and widely applicable in our country, Web Based Adult Education has become one of the major models of distance education. However, at present there lack enough instructional resources mainly from the following aspects: (1) there lack effective resources which could share with each other; (2) no proper value comes into being because of inefficiency for utilizing resources; (3) the resources constructions are of imbalance and poor quality ; (4) the resource types are monotonous and not Three-dimensional; (5) the resources are not normative, etc. Therefore this thesis brings forward a scheme named as The Construction of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources of Web Based Adult Education and carry through the research on the design and development of the management system of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources .There are five chapters in this thesis. In the first chapter the author is mainly to analyze the current situation of instructional resources at home and abroad, define the concepts such as Web Based Adult Education, Three-dimensional Instructional Resources, etc. and bring forward a scheme named as The Construction of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources of Web Based Adult Education: (1) Three-dimensional Instructional Resources based on "person", "things" and "environment"; (2) Three-dimensional Instructional Resources based on "Grid" ; (3) Three-dimensional Instructional Resources based on learning and teaching modes; (4) Three-dimensional Instructional Resources based on evaluation modes. Then the author defines the concepts and systematic structure of Web Based Three-dimensional Instructional Resources of Adult Education in China. The second chapter is mainly about three questionnaires designed by the author about the instructional resources of Adult Education in Communities, Higher Education and Basic Education according to the investigation and analysis to Three-dimensional Instructional Resources of Adult Education in China. After delivering and taking back the questionnaires, the author analyzes and counts the data of the questionnaires effectively, and then compares and analyzes the current situation of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources of Adult Education and its causes and characteristics. The third chapter is the focus of this thesis. In this chapter, the author brings forward a scheme concerning the construction of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources of Web Based Adult Education focused on Human Resources of which the focus is on Personal Knowledge Management, Humanistic Environment for Network Instruction of which the focus is on Instructional Evaluation, Teaching Pack, Teaching Material Base, Websites Construction of which the focus is on Network Mutual Platform, Resources of Books and Reference Materials, etc. The fourth chapter is mainly about the case study of the design and development of the management system of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources in Guangxi College of Education according to the scheme of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources of Web Based Adult Education. It includes the analysis to the features of the system, the design and application of the systematic framework, the code of the main systematic function module and the application of the system. In the fifth chapter, the author draws a conclusion with disadvantages and prospects.In short, the author of this thesis first forms his own concept of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources through comparing, defining other concepts of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources and brings forward an appropriate scheme of the construction of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources. Then designs a management system of Web Based Three-dimensional Instructional Resources and puts it into practice. Finally, forms a Constructional Scheme of Three-dimensional Instructional Resources of Web Based Adult Education.
