Along with our country′s eighth Curriculum Reform , the status and the function of parent in the curriculum is more and more important to come out, but the present research concerned on parent is superficial, comparatively little touches to the essence. Based on the above understanding, this research takes the parent participating in the School-Based Curriculum as cuts into the spot, and analyzes the authority of parent in the curriculum development from the education power , thus makes the parent participating in the curriculum development reasonable, and causes the parent to play the main role well. The main body of this thesis can be divided into three parts :Part 1:Through analyzing the evolution and the characteristic on education power of parent and by investigating and reconsidering on education right of parents in our country , we find that :At present in our country ,parent is not clear but manifest only the duty in the school ;the teacher and parent are not coordinated in status ;Parents′right- -consciousness is weak .Thus, we must recognize parents′important status and function in school .Part 2:Comparing the changes of authority relationship in West country and our country in the School-Based Curriculum development ,the authority is so multiplex that providing the education right to the parent theoretically and entrusting with the parents′main status is possible in the School-Based Curriculum development. .Part 3:Analyzing the participation in the school, the participation in the School-Based Curriculum development as well as parents′right deeply , we know the intrinsic relations among the three :The parent participating in the school manifests the parents′education right ;The parent participating in the School-Based Curriculum development is not only the form that parent participating in the school, but also is the parents′education right fully to manifest in the school, thus having double meanings . Based on above, the parents′education right in the School-Based Curriculum development is profound.
