With the development of the society and education, Chinese teaching reform in secondary vocational schools has been urgently brought up, especially traditional Chinese subjects, the techniques and methods of which couldn't meet the modern needs of cultivating qualified talents. As Chinese teaching reform is widely spread, cooperative study thus has been continuously adopted and explored. Cooperative study puts designing teaching aims as guiding principle during the teaching course, and takes the form of two—six persons as a heterogeneous study group. In it, teachers and students or students themselves can harmonize their activities and reach their respective purposes in a happy harmonious and active environment. This also can promote students to cultivate good psychological qualities and social skills. Cooperative study is a teaching and learning strategy, which regards general group achievements as rewarding basis. This approach can improve classroom psychological atmosphere and promote students' performance in a large scale. The theory and its methods are mainly adopted in Chinese teaching in elementary and middle schools. And it has got obvious success.At present, many problems also exist in Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools. The thesis elicits the concept of cooperative study, which can cultivate students there professional spirits and skills, and activate their interest in studying Chinese, and construct harmonious atmosphere in classroom, and make them fully autonomic..Operation is the key in Chinese cooperative study in secondary specialized schools. First teachers should cultivate students' cooperative awareness, skills and techniques. In classroom, teachers must design cooperative study in a whole and construct study group and then carry it out, which can make students and teachers in Chinese teaching vigorous and zealous. Assessment system is a powerful guarantee for the operation of cooperative study. It is an important part in managing study group effectively. If teachers and students make assessment and reflection in time, it can improve students' cooperative active competence; strengthen members' cooperative sense and competitive ability. So the teaching aim can be reached.It has many merits in carrying cooperative study out in Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools. But teachers must pay attention to its contents and forms. The thesis analyzes and reflects the application strategies of cooperative study in Chinese teaching, so it provides some theoretical instruction and practical help for Chinese teachers in secondary vocational schools.
