As we all know, scares to writing are common among students at present. Meanwhile, teachers are bound by the traditional composition teaching ideas and feel hopeless. Therefore, teaching students to write is always a key point and a difficulty during the Chinese language teaching. Junior high school students' composition writing status is alarming. This paper will discuss the semi-topic composition personality that is urgently needed by junior high school students.Semi-topic composition is a traditional way of assigning the topic of compositions. It obtains half the features of subject given and half from the topic given composition, which obtains both limitations and diversities. Whether we analysis from the features of semi-topic compositions or the psychology of junior high school students, this way of assigning the topic obviously shows a very significant advantage during the whole writing training.Aiming at junior high school students' essay writing status, this paper discussed the connotation and classification of the semi-topic composition and analyzed the advantages of semi-topic composition. This paper also proposed several effective implementation ways aiming at stimulating the personality in junior high school students' semi-topic composition writing. It's expected to strive better guide to future semi-topic composition teaching through such research.
