A Research Into The Cultivation Of Students' Literary Taste Through The Teaching Of Ancient Poesy

The present-day lesson of Chinese focuses on the cultivation of students' humanism and improvement of their moralities and literary taste of ancient poesy. The selected ancient poetry for middle school reflects the rich connotation of essential human culture and humanism, which is regarded as the gem of the traditional culture of a nation. The instruction of ancient poesy is to foster students' appreciation and comprehension of the arts of Chinese ancient poetry. They are expected to carry out some basic literary appreciation and analyses of some representative poetic works, and purposefully they will eventually attain the cultivation of ancient culture and aesthetic sentiment of literature.The purpose of this thesis is to show how to develop students' aesthetic sentiment and to further specify the contents involved in the aesthetic education through the instruction of ancient Chinese poetry; Meanwhile, as the students require, design a proper and practical teaching scheme and programme of aesthetics, further dip into the practice of reinforcement of aesthetical culture. Help students deeper understand life and life experience with their own meditation. Furthermore, with these, let aesthetic accomplishment flow into their inner heart and make them capable of composing articles representing their own personality for the purpose of improve students' writing competence.
