The Study On The Development Of Professional Degree In China

Great changes in science and technology,the birth of new subject cluster and the cross between different subject lead to the birth of new occupation , comprehension of education and multiple requirement of human resource. Under this background, Professional Degree come to bring in China,and become an important developing point for degree education.Professional Degree often means the Professional Master and Professional Doctorate. It has the same degree level with Research Degree/Academic Degree, so that Professional Degree not only has the character of degree education but also has character of the high vocational education. The setup of Professional Degree varied the graduate education mode, provided a new way to cultivate compensative human resource. With reviewing the development history of Professional Degree in China,the study analyzes its the developing scale, composition and its function,in order to study the influence factor in the development of Professional Degree. However, the study also analyzes the reasons and the law behind the rapid development of Professional Degree in other developed countries to absorb success experiences selectively. Meanwhile it tries to discuss and give some strategy proposal in how to strengthen Professional Degree Education.
