Professional degree has been one part of grant degree system in China. It is the indispensable and significant part. Ed. M (Education Master) , which belongs to the professional degree has a specifically directed educational career background, and it puts particular emphasis on its practicality and usability. Education Master and Pedagogy Master are both in the same level, but belong to the different types and specifications, and respectively have their own stresses. They have specific demand and quality level in such respects as the train objective, recruiting the target, courses offered, the mode of training, paper request, etc. The two degrees cannot be mutually replaced.The Ed. M of our country is still a fresh thing, which was established in 1996. During the past ten years, it has gained outstanding achievements. However, there are still a lot of questions that demand timely attention and solutions. The education of professional degree of many developed countries such as the UK and the USA started much earlier and so did the Ed. M. Their development is much riper. There is much beneficial experience that is worthy to use for reference. We should, on the principle of "making foreign things serve the needs of China", fully combine the national conditions of our country and concrete practice while using the beneficial experience in the world for reference to reform...
