With the responsibility of teaching, scientific researching and serving the society, university faculty is playing an important role in training high-level talents and promoting social development. The quality of faculty and their potential exertion are the decisive factors of the talents training process. The scientific and reasonable evaluation method affects the positivity, creativity and the potential exertion. Therefore, scientifically evaluating faculty is pretty important for the harmonious development of university and faculty, even the talents training system and social advancement.By analyzing the evaluation methodology of domestic and international univerisity faculty, focusing on the problems in university faculty evaluation, especially the unscientific management of evaluation, combining the evalution in rewards and punishment and continuous development, this paper has put forward a composite evaluation system for university faculty, in order to estimate the faculty more scientifically and harmoniously, and promote the harmonious advancement and continuous development of faculty and universities.In content, this paper contains four parts. Part I elaborates the purpose and significance of this research, summarizes the relevant research findings and experience, both domestic and international, and put forwards the new perspective and method of the research. Part II illustrates the existing faculty evaluation methodology and raises relative revelation. Part III establishes the human-oriented composite system. Part IV focuses on the implementation and management of evalution, specifically describes every stage of the evalution.
