Research On Equal Opportunity Of Education Of Rural Laborers' Compulsory Education

Equal opportunity of education is a great challenge that the whole world is facing, which is also a great need for us to improve nationals' comprehensive quality. Compulsory education is the base of the life of a person, the base of education, and the base of improving nationals' comprehensive quality and developing all kinds of talent. It is urgent for us to realize equal opportunity of education because we're at the bottom of the pyramid of education. Although compulsory education in new China has been developing quickly and we have achieved great success for 50years, the compulsory education of the children of rural laborers is becoming more and more serious with China's reform and open, the rapid development of cities, and the increase of floating population. Both the children of rural laborers and local citizens are flowers of our country, so we should take their education seriously, however, their rights are always ignored as weak groups in the floating population. After ten years or fewer, these children will grow up, therefore, paying attention to their education is responsible not only for their health but also for the development of the whole society. In my paper, the status quo of their education, the problems and its root are discussed as well as the way to deal with this situation.The paper is divided into 5 parts.The reason why I choose this topic is introduced in the introduction. Pointing that equal opportunity of education is the dream and aim that all of us are pursuing. Although equal opportunity of education in our country has achieved great success since liberation, there still exist many problems, equal opportunity of education of rural laborers' children is one of the focuses. That's why I choose this topic. In my paper, First its range, target, content and related concepts are defined. Then its thinking, ways and difficulties which exist are shown.In the first part, the necessity to realize the compulsory education of the children of rural laborers and the harm of unequal opportunity of education are discussed from rights and interest in law, human rights, children's mental health, economic development, social stability and so on, offering the grounds of the argument and affirming its value.
