With the development of science and culture, science education and humanism education experienced the repetition in history in which they were divided and integrated over and over again. From the viewpoint of current education philosophy, pure science education or humanism education cannot achieve the expected goals to develop students' healthy mentality and good humanistic attainment.As part of science education, physics education in high school, due to its peculiarity of targets and its teaching tasks, determines that it should reflect humanism while it emphasizes scientific knowledge and the education of scientific spirit.Based on the basic concept of science and culture, scientific spirit and humanism spirit, this thesis reviews the contradiction and conflict during the progress of science education and humanism education, and announces the inexorable trend of merging humanism education in science education. And at the same time, the thesis theoretically states the necessity and possibility of merging humanism spirit in physics teaching. Finally, on the basis of current physics teaching in high school and my teaching realizing, discussion on the approach to merging humanism education in physics teaching in high school is carried out.
