We pay more attention to the result, but less attention to the course; we pay more attention to grade, but less attention to the promotion in traditional teaching evaluation. It is not good to stimulate the student's enthusiasm and motivation in their study. And it holds up the mainstay, initiative and creativity of the students in their study. The new course of the curriculum reform brings out the new demand in the current evaluation system . It established the new evaluation system that enables the students to keep developing, improves teaching quality continuously, makes curriculum more and more perfect and satisfies the demand of quality-oriented education. It carries the formative evaluation-centerd teaching evaluation reform experiment all over China. In this reform, I tried the formative evaluation in the teaching. The reason why I experimented on the students of Grade Seven is that the habit-formed evaluation is good to stimulate their positive attitude, cultivate explorative consciousness, form self-teaching ability and promote development as a beginner of history.
