The classroom instruction design is the key of "History and Society" curriculum reforms. It decides whether the reforms are successful or not. The core idea of " History and Society" classroom instruction design is thedevelopment of the students. That is : to promote all the students'development; to focus on the all-round improvement of students'basic accomplishment; to guide the students to study on their own initiative. With the guidance of this idea, "History and Society" classroom instruction design should follow: the principleof the second curriculum development, the principle of the optimized study, the principle of the combination of knowledge and emotion, the principle of the dynamic production, the principle of sticking out "the social practice ability" ,the principle of the files evaluation. In the practice, the common misunderstanding areas of "History and Society" classroom instruction design includes: Equal the study goal in the teaching goal; Equal the group discussion in the cooperation study; Equal the classroom activities in the active thoughts; Equal the data collection in the utilize of the material; Equal the classroom disorder in the teaching democracy; Equal the course content in the students'knowledge and skills.
