| It has been five years since new curriculum stepped into trial plots, and the new curriculum have been carried out by all students of nine-year compulsory education of China. It has realized the following aims: from experimenting on some schools to all schools; from implementing curriculum policy to adjustment and reform of teaching practice; from the construction of curriculum system to consolidation of the fruit of reform. From theory to practice: people has realized that the new curriculum reform is not only the reform of ideas, models, ways and behavior, that is, the reform of classroom teaching itself. If we want to realize the aims of the curriculum reform, existing classroom culture should be analyzed and reconstructed. The reconstruction of classroom culture is not only concerns the development of students, class life quality of teachers, but also the improvement of quality of China. As the spirit of the new curriculum—"for the development of each student", the educational ideas it aspires are something like below: education democracy, real life, disparate cultural values, development individuality of students etc. Under the guidance of such ideas, classroom culture should be democratic, open, interactive, dialogue and inquiring. Whereas, the theory is divorced from practice, for example, curriculum, teaching methods, learning styles and teacher-student relationships. The reasons beside objective conditions in operation, incorrect cognitions of technology, ideas, system and culture are important factors. So reconstruction of classroom culture is raised, and the author tries to put forward strategies of reconstructing classroom culture from the aspects of society, government, school, teachers and researchers. |
