Relationship Between Estrogen Receptor Gene,Collagen Type Ⅱ Polymorphisms,Exercise And Primary Osteoarthritis On Knee

Purpose:Analyse the relationship between Estrogen Receptor gene , Collagen typeâ…¡gene restriction fragment-length polymorphisms and primary osteoarthritis on knee. Give the basis to filter the high suspicious OA with molecular genetic way, and find the effective way to defend and cure OA. Realize the relationship between long non-system exercise usually taken by older and the onset , symptom of OA. To give the basis for the prevention and healing on OA. Method:Divide the 168 persons to two group by the knee x-ray : OA group 66, control group 102.Use PCR-RFLP to check the Estrogen Receptor gene Btgâ… site, Collagen typeâ…¡gene Btgâ… , Haeâ…¢sites polymorphisms. Divide the people into exercist group 80, and non-exercise group 88 persons, according to their exercise way. Statistic the rate and the symptom of OA. Result: (1)There is a notedly difference of the Estrogen Receptor gene Btgâ… site gene type between OA group and control group(P<0.01).(2)And there is a notedly difference of the Collagen typeâ…¡gene Btgâ… site gene type between OA group and control group(P<0.05).(3)There is no difference of the Collagen typeâ…¡gene Haeâ…¢site gene type between OA group and control group.(4) There no difference of the phalange BMD and BMI between OA group and control group neither(P>0.05).(5) There is no difference of the OA on-set rate and OA on-set age between exercise group and non-exercise group(P>0.05).But the symptom of exercise group is lighter than the non-exercise group(P<0.05).(6)Taking exercise before 30 can reduce the rate of OA(P<0.01). CONCLUSION: There is correlation between Estrogen Receptor gene Btgâ… site, Collagen typeâ…¡gene Btgâ… 'bb gene type and primary OA on knee. But there is no correlation between Collagen typeâ…¡gene Haeâ…¢polymorphism and knee OA. Taking exercise in the young age can reduce the rate of OA. Exercise also can light the symptom of OA.
