Reasoning and our life are closely bound up. People often judge from all kinds of things and make proper choices or decisions among multitudes of numerous and complicated information. It is often concerned with one's reasoning ability that whether the things which he or she did succeeded and his own development, thus reasoning ability is integrant and basic to a person. Mathematics plays a role in developing reasoning ability. Peole have already identified with that and are cocksure of that.Without fail developing students' reasoning ability is one of the important goals of mathematics curriculum. Through deep analyzing essence, rules and concept of mathematical reasoning as well as discussions of basic structure of mathematical ability from different points of view, this article makes people have an all-sided and scientific understanding of mathematical reasoning ability. For many years, our mathematical teaching paid more attention to preciseness and formalization of deductive reasoning with long-term cognition of looking down on plausible reasoning; but in the new reformation of mathematics curriculum, it seems to have a trend of diluting deductive reasoning with plausible reasoning from one extreme to another. Therefore, the article emphasizes the point that mathematical teaching should take the policy of simultaneous development of the two abilities.Then how the educators make good use of the subject of mathematics to comprehensively train the middle school students' reasoning ability, on that the article puts forward the points that we should pay attention to in the course of mathematical reasoning. The article analyses the consanguineous contacts between mathematical exploring and mathematical reasoning, and puts forward the idea of developing students' mathematical reasoning ability through mathematical exploring teaching. Thus this article designs different kinds of mathematical exploring teaching examples. These teaching examples are: counting diagonals of polygons (induce and guess the relation between the number of diagonals and the number of polygons' sides, then prove the conclusion),exploring the characters of tetrahedrons (analogy between triangles and tetrahedrons),exploring the characters of right peripheral angles in conics (generalize the possibilities of common conics from one proposition of right...
