Objective: Beforetime, many studies indicated that long-term mental stress inhibited the immune function of organism. However, lots of overseas studies all found that acute mental stress could potentiate the immune function of organism. Exercise, as a positive coping manner, can adjust the influence of mental stress on immune function of organism efficiently. For example, exercise can prevent the immune function of organism from the inhibition of long-term mental stress. But it is unclear whether exercise can adjust the influence of actual mental stress on the immune function of organism. Therefore, this thesis intend to provide the gist for a farther investigating the mechanism of the influence of mental stress on the immune function, exploring the regulation of exercise adjusting the influence of mental stress on the immune function by adopting the classical mental stress mode and measuring the concentration of IFN-γand IL-4 in blood serum of SD rats.Method: 63 healthy male SD rats of eight weeks old (purchased in Animal Inheriting Graduate School of YangZhou University) were selected. All the rats were divided into 7 groups: namely, control group, electrical footshock group, mental stress group, 60minites exercise group, 30 minites group, stress +60minites exercise group, streee+30 minites group. All the exercise rats carried through a training of 12 weeks. The aute mental stress were carried through in the morning for 15 minites just after the day of exercise ending. In an hour after the experiment, the blood of rats was collected from the abdominal cavity artery in order to measure the concentration of IFN-γand IL-4 in blood serum.Result: (1) Although the concentration of IFN-γin rats received acute mental stress is enhanced significantly, the stress has no effect on the concentration of IL-4. Compared with the control group, the concentration of IFN-γ, of rats in mental stress group is higher significantly (P<0.05) than that in the control group, but the concentration of IL-4 has no change.(2)The exercise has no effect on the concentration of IFN-γ, and IL-4 of rats. Compared with the control group, the level of IL-4and IFN-γ, has no change significently.(3)The exercise can enhance the concentration of IFN-γof rats received acute mental stress. Compared with mental stress group, both concentration of IFN-r of rats in stress +60minites exercise group and that in streee+30 minites group were hoisted, thereinto, the concentration of IFN-γ, of rats in stress +60minites exercise group is higher than that in mental stress group. The result of ANOVA indicates that interaction between exercise and stress is significantly (P<0.05)Conelusion: (1) Actual mental stress can enhance innate immune function and cell immune function of SD rats, but it has no effect on humour immune function of SD rats.(2) Fitting exercise can intensity farther the effect that actual mental stress enhances innate immune function and cell immune function of SD rats, furthermore, the effect of moderate exercise is better than that of low exercise.
