A Study On Children's Sympathy In Parents' Implicit Belief

Both interviews and literature researches are adopted in this study. The author designed two questionnaires:A questionnaire of parents' attention on children's sympathy, and A questionnaire of parents' educational activities, which focus on the investigation of children's sympathy in parents' implicit belief. Based on data analysis and the findings derived whereby, the thesis arrives at the following conclusions:(1) Generally speaking, parents have the same idea with specialists on the definition of sympathy, but they extend their targets who are sympathized. They raised that the sympathized should be respected.(2) Parents pay much attention to children's sympathetic behavior on action.(3) On the questions of children's sympathetic behavior, the prominent distinctions exist not in parents of different age, but in parents of different gender and occupation; parents with different educational backgrounds show great difference in children's sympathetic experience and behaviors; parents having different intimate relations with children have diverse understanding in children's sympathy. There is no evident mutual-effect presented between parents' gender educational background occupation age, and children.(4) Parents think highly of school and family factors in the effect of evolving and developing children's sympathy, and neglect children's individual feature.(5) At the issue of factors influencing children's sympathy, there is no ostensive distinction...
