Abstract/Summary:
This thesis is concluded and finished carefully basing on the bilingual teaching practice of geography for an academic year.After talking about the background and the present situation at home and abroad on geography bilingual teaching, the author put forward the objective and significance of the study.During the experience, the author made the whole design of geography bilingual teaching after analyzing the teaching material and the students' situation. That is dividing the academic year into adapting period and developing period. Then it was put into effort step by step. At last the author got the conclusion after the experience, geography bilingual teaching developed the students' geography quality particularly in:1. Geography bilingual teaching promotes the students' geography knowledge;2. Geography bilingual teaching develops the students' ability;3. Geography bilingual teaching improves the students' interesting in geography;4. Geography bilingual teaching changes the students' learning pattern.At the same time the four principles should be obeyed in geography bilingual teaching:1.The principle of basing on subject;2. The principle of step by step;3. The principle of facing all the students;4.The principle of calling a knave a knave and doing according to your ability.
