Fully activating students and teaching activity, improving teaching quality are the general demand for teaching in quality education.In classroom teaching, one of the most important parts of the school teaching activities, teachers' guidance performs a critical function. And students' function as the main body of teaching activities is equally important for the increase of the teaching efficiency.On the basis of the investigation of student- centered teaching pattern in multimedia physics teaching, the paper expounds the function of multimedia theoretically and practically, and makes an analysis of teaching principles as well as the thinking about self-access learning. It provides the practical research of physics teaching based on multimedia technology and demonstrates its feasibility.
