Research On The Structure Of SWB Of Chengdu Female Hour-paid Worker

Well-being (also call Subjective Well-being, SWB) is an ever-lasting topic and aim that people have been perusing. What does it mean? DifFerent people have different answers. Social psychologists agree that it is people's comprehensive evaluation of their overall life. Such evaluation contains two elements. One is cognition; the other one is feeling, including positive affect and negative affect.SWB is an important psychological index to measure people's life. With the development of positive psychology, research on SWB of different people becomes more and more important. It can reflect the level of social development and human-centered orientation.This research is to investigate the current situation of 'hour-paid worker' and analysis correlation factors of their SWB. "Hour-paid worker" is a new kind of occupation group whose job is to help people do some housework and get paid. In this study, we sent 75 questionnaires to female house-service workers and received 62 valid answers .By analysis of the small sample survey, we made the following conclusion: 1 The SWB of hour-paid worker is not very high; we can evaluate their SWB by their satisfaction of their job and family life.2. Their SWB is more related to subjective factors than to objective ones.
