College is a special institution created by human beings with a long history and plays an important role in the development of human society. Moral instruction is the epitome of college management ideology, the requirement of talent cultivation and the particular characteristics of spiritual culture, just like an culture tag of Chinese college, which exhibits the profound historical culture succession of college in China and their vivid individualities and features. It will have theoretical as well as practical significance in advocating the college ideology, rationalizing the college instruction, and inspiring teachers, students and other staffs.The thesis classifies some moral instruction of some Chinese colleges from different angles through referring to the history of these colleges, and then finds out some college moral instruction's characteristics and problems that are under further analysis. Meanwhile, it also discusses the functions of moral instruction and offers some constructive suggestions on how to apply these functions effectively. The thesis discusses the college moral instruction from different angles with an aim to enrich the relevant theories on college ideology as well as to make college moral instruction into a full practice.
