The Inspirations For Students’ Moral Education In College From The Thought Of Confucius Moral Education Ideology

As China is in the process of society transition, the rapid development of themarket economy has produced a number of moral crisis, and many new issues andproblems also have been brought to the moral education of college students. As agreat educator and thinker，the moral education ideas of Confucius is an veryimportant part of the glorious China’s traditional culture, it makes positive impact onpromoting the formation of college students’ moral quality, also on the developmentof China’s Moral Education in College. Therefore, this thesis starts from Organizingand summarizing Confucius Moral Education Ideology, and then analyzing theproblems of college students moral education at present, try to propose someappropriate measures in the area of objectives, content and methods，which is thethree dimensions of Confucius Moral Education. The purpose of this thesis is tofinally put forward some countermeasures for the moral education of college studentsin China.This paper including four parts, the first part is the introduction, including thepurpose and significance of the research, the academic status at home and abroad, theacademic methods, the innovations and some definition of core concept.The second part is the basic theory of Confucius Moral Education Ideology，describe it in details Mainly form three dimensions, the objectives, content andmethods. The third part then analyzes the current problems of moral education forcollege students, correspondingly from three dimensions. The fourth part is theenlightenment of Confucius moral education ideology for moral education. From thepoint of view of Confucius thought of moral education, combining the problems ofmoral education in reality, the thesis finally proposes some ideas and suggestions forstrengthen the effectiveness of the moral education for college students in China.
